Possible, but this dudes probably like a bottom tier monkey working on some aspect of Marketplace or some shit. I doubt 90% of Facebook employees have any clue what the other 90% are actually doing, or what the end goal is. I'm sure Zuck doesn't issue company memos or hold all hands meetings about how they're going to thumb the scale.

Honestly I bet there's more cross-team communication than you think. Not necessarily at an official level, but they literally have an on-site cafeteria that probably just about everybody working on-site goes to for lunch. You don't think they ever talk about what they're working on?
