Jussie Smollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I'm praying for his quick recovery. This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.~Kamala:marseykamala: Harris, Vice President of the United States

On a chilly evening in Chicago, Spider-Man swung gracefully between towering skyscrapers, his senses tingling with a deep sense of justice. Word had spread that the city had been rocked by a bizarre incident, one that didn't quite sit right with the web-slinger. Jussie Smollett, a well-known actor, had been caught up in a scandal, fabricating a story of an attack. While the authorities were investigating, it seemed like Jussie had slipped through the cracks. And that, Spider-Man couldn't let stand.

Perched on a lamppost, Spider-Man scanned the streets below. Sure enough, there was Smollett, slipping through a dark alleyway, wearing a hood and moving like someone with something to hide. Spidey swung down with lightning speed, landing silently behind him.

"Running from the truth, Jussie?" Spider-Man quipped, his voice light but with an underlying edge.

Smollett whirled around, eyes wide with panic. "No, no, you don't understand—"

"Oh, I understand plenty," Spider-Man interrupted, flicking his wrist and sending a sticky web toward Smollett's hands, binding them instantly. "You staged the whole thing. The cops were scratching their heads, but I think this little stunt's gone on long enough."

Jussie struggled, tugging at the webs, but it was no use. Spider-Man pulled him up effortlessly with another webline, and within seconds, Jussie found himself hanging several feet off the ground, tightly bound to the lamppost.

"You know," Spider-Man mused as he hung upside down next to the helpless actor, "people already have a hard time believing in heroes. What you did? Made it even harder. But it's okay—you're about to take responsibility."

With that, Spider-Man fired off another web, leaving a note attached to Jussie's chest for the arriving police officers. "To NYPD. From your friendly neighborhood Ricky"

As he prepared to swing away, sirens could already be heard approaching. Spider-Man glanced back at Jussie one last time, who was now hanging there, defeated and silent.

"Next time, maybe don't fake it, huh?" Spider-Man said, before launching into the night sky, disappearing into the shadows, leaving Smollett tied up and ready for the long hog of justice.

Even without the whole hate crime hoax, this neighbors career was gonna die anyways. Theres only so many roles for light-skinned twinks in the industry and he was already approaching twinkdeath even on Empire which is why they were gonna kill him off.

Surprised Trump didn't bring up Kamala's complicity in the grift to get her 'anti-lynching' bill over the line.
