This is a sufficiently short amount of time to cause more drama. Currently hole-deletions tend to only cause 0-1 hole ๐ฆ posts. Let's look at some hypothetical scenarios:
[hole followers pinged with message saying that hole will be deleted in one minute if nothing is posted in it]
Scenario A: follower(s) sees message in time and creates a half-assed post to save hole. Later followers of the hole see message and become frantic seeing if any posts have been made to save hole. OP is regarded as a hero.
Scenario B: Follower sees message in time but somehow fricks up and just barely misses the deadline. The post should somehow be marked as too late. Later followers of hole see message and look for hole and see it wasn't saved. Everyone will deride OP as a failure.
Scenario C: Nobody sees message in time but all followers have message showing they could have saved the hole if they were Online more often.
Each of these scenarios causes an interesting amount of drama. @all
