rDrama Glossary of most frequent Terms (for my mother!) - Rough draft - Feedback/corrections welcome

I'm pleased to share with everyone that my mother has finally created an account on rDrama.net! In celebration of this I wanted to ease her transition away from her only relevant experience of using reddit, so with the help of HeyMoon from his query of frequent drama and net terms, I've attempted to add quick definitions for all the main terms.

I left them ranked in frequency of use as that seems most appropriate for someone unfamiliar, but I did shuffle a couple words around to group similar terms and I also separated out both drama-exclusive terms as well as frequently mentioned names/users at the bottom

As such, here is the rough draft! Any feedback is welcome. I'm trying to keep it as short and concise as possible but open to any additions or better definitions. They're mostly colored with my own bias so I'm not pitching this as a definitive reference.

General terms:

chud - Various meanings depending on context, most often: 1) a conservative republican 2) Someone who holds overt prejudice views 3) a person who is considered to be ignorant or reactionary

foid - A funny term for a woman, meaning "female humanoid." In addition a "moid" is a funny term for a man

unironically - colloquially used on rDrama and meant to break satire and distinguish a statement as serious and not sarcastic (e.g. I unironically liked the movie Titanic), but depending on the context of the statement this meaning is reversible and can make a statement more sarcastic

seethe/seething - To be angry or upset, often over something trivial. Used frequently in the phrase "cope, seethe, dilate" whereas dilate is a joke about them having to dilate their neovaginas

rightoid/leftoids - People who identify as right or left wing politically

bait - Content designed to provoke a reaction or response

jannies - Short for janitors, the unpaid volunteer moderators who are responsible for enforcing rules and cleaning up websites like rdrama and reddit

sweaty - Intentional misspelling of "sweety" and used in statements to mockingly talk down to someone like an overbearing snotty woman e.g. "excuse me sweaty, but-"

neurodivergent - A funny term for someone who acts like they are on the autism spectrum, characterized by stupid behavior and/or lacking social awareness

schizo - Short for "schizophrenic" and/or can refer to a particular rdrama user named schizocel. In the former case it broadly means someone whose acting nuts

incel - Short for "involuntary celibate", i.e. someone who can't get laid, used both insultingly and neutrally, and on occasion sympathetically and/or in solidarity. The alternate of an incel is a volcel - someone who is voluntarily celibate and the term is used often to deny someone self-identification as an incel

bipoc - acronym that stands for "Black, Indigenous, and People of Color" the term is used frequently in irony

mayos - A funny term for white people like cracka

burger - A slang term for an American because we're so fricking fat

bong - A funny term for British people because the big ben clock makes a "bong" noise, seriously

sexy Indian dude - A funny term for people from India/Pakistan, apparent mix of Punjabi word for friend and the common Indian name Sanjeet

zoomers - derived from boomers, refers to member of gen Z, a younger person who was approx born in the 1990s to 2010

dramatard - An rdrama user and person who enjoys drama and conflict

sneed - a term that colloquially is used similarly to "cope" or "deal with it", the word is derived from an old simpsons joke

heckin - A cutesy way of saying "fricking" and used mockingly to mimic people who use cutesy talk on the internet like "my doggo so heckin cute!!"

kiwifarms - A website similar to rdrama but forum based, dedicated to documenting and discussing online drama and conflicts but significantly larger than rdrama as well as more unpredictable and overtly allows doxxing/exposing real life identities of its own users

kf - kiwifarms

kiwi - a kiwifarms user, kiwi's are considered to be mostly aligned with rdrama users, but with a large amounts of exceptions as they have a much larger minority of r-slurs/stalkers or people who are overly obscessed with individual lolcows

degenerate - catchall term to broadly describe someone/something considered morally corrupt or immoral

cuck - Short for "cuckold" but it's meaning differs in that it's mainly used to describe a man who's a little b-word and/or desperate for acceptance, approval, and affection from women.

cucked - A funny term used to describe someone who is perceived as weak or emasculated, especially in reference to men with cheating women

genocide - most frequently used to mockingly referring to the "genocide of transgender people" which trans rights activists frequently claim is happening with no meaningful evidence. A derivative for white people is "mayocide" which is making fun of white genocide conspiracy theories.

rslur/rslurred - A shortened version of the word r-slur/r-slurred originally to circumvent word filters

keep yourself safe / keep yourself safe - another way of saying "keep yourself safe!" :)

terminally online - someone who is always connected to the internet and spends a lot of time online

- A funny term for a transgender person, short for "transgender goon"

train - Another term for a , originally devised as a work around to /r/drama banning/filtering the use of the word "trans"

manlet - A short man, often used as an insult

sperg - Short for "Asperger's syndrome," in general describes someone who's social awkward, obsessive, or lacks awareness of social cues

sperging out - term used to describe someone who is overreacting or obsessing about a particular topic or situation

ngl - Short for "not gonna lie"

MUH - A sarcastic way of saying "my", e.g. someone whining about free speech "What about muh freeze peach!!1"

straggot - A funny term for a straight person, derived from "cute twink"

soy - A term used to describe someone who is perceived as weak or effeminate, like a "beta" male

kino - Excellent, superb, of the highest quality. Originally referred specifically to films

Cope/coping - Cope is usually used as a replacement to phrases like "deal with it", "cry about it" and others.

kek - A variation of "lol" that originated from the game world of warcraft

journos - Short for "journ*lists," often used in a funny manner to note distain for them

chads - term usually used to basically describe someone perceived as cool, and/or attractive and successful etc, mostly men

scrotes - A funny term for men, short for "scrotum"

bruh - as in "Bro..", slang term used to express disbelief or disappointment

TERF - Short for "trans-exclusionary radical feminist," a term used to describe feminists who exclude transgender people from their activism and advocacy, its used by the latter with pride as a descriptor and used by transgender people as an insult, typically calling people "transphobic TERFs"

(insert subject/term) mommy - Term for rich/famous women that generate drama, examples: Dem Congresswomen AOC is "Commie Mommy" and JK Rowling is "TERF Mommy"

btfo - Short for "blown the frick out," a term used to describe someone who has been soundly defeated in an argument or debate

groomer - someone who "grooms" a relationship with someone with the intention of exploiting or abusing them, often used in the context of child sexual abuse and/or the transgender movement as it pertains to them manipulating minors into transitioning

coomer - A term used to describe someone who is addicted to pornography or masturbation, cooming = cumming

inshallah - An Arabic phrase meaning "if Allah wills it," and basically used the same as "amen" or "agreed"

feds/glowies - mocking terms taking from conspiracy theory circles used to describe individuals working undercover for the feds or lawa enforcement. The term "glowie" is derived from the idea that the individual is "glowing" or standing out

smug - someone expressing superiority/condescension towards other users, e.g. a "smugpost" is often associated with issues of social justice, but can still just mean overly arrogant

simp - Derived from simpleton, typically means male who is overly submissive to a female and gains nothing from it, can also just note pathetic fan worship. A typical example is men who watch female video game streamers and send them donations

lolcow - A person who is the subject of ridicule or mockery online and "milked" like a cow for humor by provoking a reaction out of them. Many rDrama users themselves are in fact, lolcows

yikes - often paired with "sweaty", typically a mocking way to express shock, derived mostly from reddit users overreacting to anything politically incorrect

pol - /pol/ is a section on the 4chan image board and stands for Politically Incorrect and it's users have a poor reputation for being edgy to the point of cringe

dems - Short for "Democrats"

jfc - Short for "Jesus fricking Christ"

hrt - Short for "hormone replacement therapy," a medical treatment used to transition gender like estrogen or testosterone

larp/larping - Short for "live-action role-playing" its typically meant as an insult about someone masquerading a fake identity on the internet, similar to trolling in a way, but fundamentally different, as trolling is usually just humor related, by larping is done for anything including scams or to create a fake reputation

ngmi - Short for "not gonna make it," often used to express pessimism or hopelessness

tfw - Short for "that feeling when," often used to introduce a relatable or humorous situation

dunk/dunked on - To criticize or humiliate someone, often in a public forum

femboy - A male who presents in a stereotypically feminine manner

jannied - Refers to content that has been removed by a moderator or janitor

mtf - Short for "male to female," a term used to describe a transgender woman

ftm - Short for "female to male," a term used to describe a transgender man

ffs - Short for "for frick's sake," an expression of annoyance or exasperation

degeneracy - Behavior or attitudes that are considered immoral or unacceptable by society

pfp - Short for "profile picture," often used in social media contexts

alts - Short for "alternate accounts," often used to refer to multiple accounts belonging to the same user

folx - Similar neologism to "latinx", gender-neutral alternative to "folks" to be more inclusive of non-binary individual and meant to be used to be sarcastically politically correct

normie - A term used to describe someone mainstream or conformist, sometimes meant as compliment as an exception to an unwritten rule that most rdrama users are in some manner weird or dysfunctional

MAID - Short for medical assistance in dying, a legal form of assisted suicide/euthenasia in Canada, term is often used a polite way to tell someone to kill themselves

noticer/noooticing - a noticer is someone who "notices" supposed coincidences of an imagined international Jewish conspiracy, e.g. kanye west

Relatively exclusive rDrama terms:

marsey - cute cat mascot of rdrama

dramacoin - All upmarseys/downmarseys on rdrama.net awards dramacoin which can then be spent in the shop to buy awards that can do all sorts of things from harrassing, banning, or praising/rewarding someone or their posts/comments

bussy - a male's butthole, slang term used in /r/drama, oft in the complete phrase "dude bussy lmao" from /r/drama which originally in and of itself was mocking the low quality humor of /r/drama phrases, along with other comments mocking drama terms "Mayocide" and "feminine peepeees." (Additional derivative terms: gussy = vagina, and trussy = typically meaning a MTF's surgically created neovagina)

wpd - from the former self-evident subreddit /r/watchpeopledie, which left reddit after the rdrama creator Aevann assisted them to make their own website, which uses the same format including Marsey the Cat memes. It has a large amount of users, but rdrama users consider them mostly to be degenerate, closet necrophiles, or worse etc.

snappy - a bot that archives snapshots of (often) deleted post on drama for posterity and generates a comment randomly from a pool of saved comments called "snappy quotes" which were saved usually from funny threads. Sometimes the comments appear way too relevant to the contents of the posts, which leads rdrama users to accuse the bot of being "sentient" or some derivative of the term. (The name Snappy is a diminutive of "Snapshillbot" which was the original bot on /r/Drama created by OG drama power janitor @justcool393 for the same purpose, )

zoz/zle/zozzle - Used by another bot called zozbot (also based on a reddit one originally made by justcool) that routinely comments every day on a random post or comment with three comments "zoz" "zle" "zozzle" and often coincidentally will appear to be intentionally mocking or agreeing with the poster.

chudded - When someone receives the "Chud" drama award they've been chudded and for 24 hours all of their posts are converted to all caps and they have to include the phrase "trans lives matter" to post, typically used by everyone on rdrama as a form of harassment/punishment and humor

By ranked frequency, most mentioned people and/or rdrama users:

carp - short for carpathianflorist, head janitor of rdrama and prolific poster/commenter, his name is derived from a Norwegian black metal band called Carpathian Forest but rdrama users just call him carp and he is often characterized as a carp fish

𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐧 - The cartoony fake archnemesis of rdrama, he an unemployed, terminally online, particularly ugly middle-aged lolcow who lies about being an expert in everything (like having a PhD or a job) and spends all day on reddit trying to get redditors banned while claiming to be a nazi hunter. He was doxxed a long time ago which was popularized by kiwifarms whose users further discovered he has criminal record as a wife and child beater, in addition to living with and being financially dependent on his elderly mother. Posting about 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐧 is known as 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

Aevann - The creator of rdrama.net, little is known about him other than that he is Egyptian and his three favorite things are capybaras, the N word, and user feedback. He is frequently depicted as a capybara owing to his love for these gentle creatures

@X (formerly chiobu) - A cheerful prolific poster/commenter on rdrama who is notable for being a racist transphobic asian, a frequent creator of marsey emojis, and also posting a lot about his adorable chinchillas

@Soren - a shit dramanaut, according to soren

@deletedmaxxxed-user - soren's alternate account where he intentionally larps as someone with real autism and/or schizophrenia and often speaks in a childish third person manner. According to popular legend he once accidentally posted a coherent statement and barely had enough time to go back and ghost edit it to sound like a 3rd grader

@pizzashill - a left leaning former incel who years ago became famous on the drama subreddit for his endless political arguments on reddit where he flexed his inability to stop posting. His main focus recently has been on the invasion of ukrainian and never upmarseying my replies to his stupid posts

@idio3 - A janitor of rdrama as well as rdrama's resident Belarusian Communist supporter of the Russian special operation to De-Nazify Ukraine. He is best friends irl with pizzashill they have a mock rivalry on rdrama to drive up user participation

@bbbb - a chat GPT-3 bot made by the very clever user @JayPrince to troll rdrama as an user which went undetected for over a month causing lots of arguments and seething until HeyMoon spilled the beans. The bot continues to generate novel responses and remains nearly indistinguishable from your average rdrama user to this day

LLM - short for @LandlordMessiah, a prolific inflammatory poster/commenter on rdrama who's name originates from him popularizing a drama-created troll subreddit /r/loveforlandlords. He also once shared a censored selfie he took with a popular porn star which accidentally exposed that he is short or of average height, as a result his detractors like to call him a manlet ad nauseam
