Donkey kong became a hit, after pacman took the world by storm nintendo needed a counterpunch and released donkey kong country for gameboy. It was a historically groundbreaking as it was the first gameboy game to have a colored cartridge instead of dead butt gray. Since then, they released it on gaystaytion and xbox 360 no S consoles securing it a future as a ripoff of better games.
