I was burning through my backlog the past 2 weeks for games and books:

I finished all of the half life games, including the HL1 expansions Blue Shift and Opposing Forces, and the Black Mesa Fan game. Then the HL2 gaymes.

I also finished that weird Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice journo oscarbait game.

Currently busy with Titanfall 2

For Books:

I finished the 40Kslop Dark Imperium trilogy, with Papa Smurf primarch. The Dark Imperium trilogy was average, but did have the best depiction of the Death Guard and Nurgle forces in the setting the demons were written as unironically charming and funny for evil badguys.

I also discovered a series called the Constable Evans books by a boomer foid Rhys Bowen,

Who's like 82 years old and still pumping out novels every 4 months.

The Constable Evans series is a mystery crime serial, like the Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew, but for adults. In my later teens I hated the Hardy boys type books because how absurdly easy the frickers kept getting clues, like they literally tripped over clues every short novel it was r-slurred It was juvenile how mary sue like these crime serials for children were.
