He's been doing this to my account ever since I opened /h/soy and to almost every post there(I'd like to add that he has never commented there to avoid getting banished from the hole). I'd consider this evidence of how unbalanced the shit award is(since it's cheap and has a relatively long-lasting effect and none of the other awards can be abused in this way). My proposal is for it to no longer work on users who currently block you. That way this kind of thing is no longer doable and it would still be used in good jest and sporadically as it was intended(since blocking dozens of the kinds of users who tend to use awards would hide a large amount of posts). I think I'm going to make a long effortpost about this, one of these days, about how the award is unbalanced, the deflector is not a viable measure against it and various ways in which it could be modified without making it useless.

Such ideas have indeed floated around the Soy group chat but we have have reached the conclusion that it wouldn't work in the long-term. Asking for the shit award to be rebalanced might work.

Idk why shit award is the way it is. It'd be more balanced if the user didn't receive any coins and just had to eat the cost of removing someone else's coins.

Though I'd prefer if it was just cosmetic like it used to be. Aevann even coded the spider to eat the flies on screen back when it was cosmetic but now all that effort's wasted :marseycry: :marseyspider:
