Stable 120+ is good enough, especially as you get older. I shoot for 240 because devs lately are terrible about max frametimes

Yeah man I'm too fricking old for games that benefit from 240 hz.
I sold my gaming ultrawide and got a massive high resolution productivity one instead. Way better for work, and makes no difference for BG3 or whatever I'm likely to play these days anyway.
