So trump is getting immigrants to leave the country... leave mexico that is. Since the way this is accomplished is only relevant to people outside the US, it doesn't affect illegal mmigrants in the US at all. Furthermore, some portion of the people turned off by this will decide, instead of going south, to go up north to the US to seek asylum. Instead of making mexico pay for the wall, trump is now helping mexico to deal with their illegal immigrant problem
