Hanks was up to join the department’s gang violence task force this year but was denied because, according to the lawsuit filed in the Northern District of New York, he was a “gang member” and “narcotics trafficker” who has “known associations with gang members and convicted criminals.”

I can't believe the Jim Crowkers made him sell drugs and be friends with criminals. $33 mil + treble damages is hardly enough.
