I've spent 8 years working in a grocery store. This is entirely true. You work in a specific department. You want nothing more than to get off and go home. You don't shop at your store and you certainly don't linger at it. Combine that with the fact that store will go through multiple resets a year and the fact that it was a new store for this person, it's totally reasonable they didn't know where the milk is.

It's not that they don't deserve a raise. They do. Houston firefighters wanted a raise to match the police, despite the police slowly negotiating their pay over years. The city actually offered the firefighters a raise but it didn't match the police wage so they refused. The problem with the current raise is that it is not budgeted or prepared for. It's not raising taxes so that money will need to come from elsewhere. Such as layoffs all throughout the city including the firefighters annnnnd budget cuts across the board. It won't be apocalyptic but it won't be good. Than there's the actual problem with the firefighters bypassing the city and going straight to the voters. No offense, but the average voting citizen is ignorant of city finances, including me. Negotiating a wage should be done with the city, not an ignorant voting population. This raises the risks of other groups following suit.

This is one of my biggest concerns with constitutional carry here in Texas. There is no educational requirement to purchase a gun or ammo. At least before, you'd need some sort of training to carry the gun around. Now you need none. I'm telling you, there will be an uptick in accidental discharge injury's and deaths.

As a current geology student, i love seeing the sediments in this picture. Im assuming the only weathering that occurse on the moon is through impact. That's why there are all those fine grains. If i remember correctly from 5th grade science, the moon once had very active magma and lava. It has a solid core and liquid mantle similar to the earths but with different composition. So most of the rock on the moon must be igneous in nature. I'm assuming high in silicate and iron maybe? Apparently there are supposed to be lava tubes on the moon. I wonder if there's any crystals? This is why i want a fricking moon base.

Just gonna say, this is going to increase taxes. It is also going to disproportionately affect low income communities that cannot afford significantly higher taxes. The state will have to step in and fund more K-12 education. Personally, I think Texas needs to legalize pot and tax the shit out of it.
