My favourite part of the Roe v. Wade ruling was the meltdown on stupidpolesque places where the guiding mantra was that political parties always ignored what their voters want.
A constant saying around such being that the Republicans will never actually try to ban abortion because they need it for votes. Until they did and everyone there was absolutely caught out surprised. Basically this meme.
