I wonder how many subs would try to ban you for posting this?

The concept that the powerjannies can't seem to understand is that people want to live their lives, and for many a perceived slight increase in the chance of death isn't a strong enough deterrent from doing whatever they feel the need to do. With that said, if you were already looking for excuses to stay in your basement or not take care of your children, lockdowns are great!

Also, America's lockdowns were so half assed that a lot of people don't trust them to work anymore. Oops, there's a "public" in "public health", who knew?

There's definitely some countries that did them right, but most powerjannies are probably ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

The poll was conducted between Friday and Sunday among 1,200 registered voters and did not include a margin of error.

"American voters are some of the dumbest humans on earth, finds shocking new poll."

Like why even poll this? I've had 8 arguments in the last 2 weeks in which someone has tried to convince me the price of hamburger is up over 200%.

The issue is people went into these thinking it would be over briefly. Remember when it was only 2 weeks and then weโ€™ll be back to seeing our friends? Not many who supported these expected 20 months of lockdowns

Okay so

The samurai were officially abolished as a caste in Japanese society during the Meiji Restoration in 1867

The first ever fax machine, the "printing telegraph", was invented in 1843

And Abraham Lincoln was famously assassinated at Ford's Theatre in 1865

Which means

There was a 22 year window in which a samurai could have sent a fax to Abraham Lincoln
