Article is about Taiwan but other East Asian countries like China, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan aren't much better. Why do

It'll be interesting to see how Asia evolves over the next fifty plus years. My /h/the_ivory_tower 
take is that some of these countries might end up guinea pigs for what happens when such a large chunk of the population is old and out of work. Western societies are looking at some of the same issues too.
