This is bait, right?
Even if the Russians pull out a win in Ukraine, half of their fighting-age men are going to be killed/maimed in the process. On top of that, their entire logistical apparatus has been revealed to be (somehow) even more corrupt and inefficient the had been previously imaged. And this is just one, corrupt Slavic joke of a country, Russia probably couldn't even take Poland now and that's setting aside their NATO membership.
China's headed toward demographic and economic collapse too. Sure they've got a lot of young men to throw at an invasion of someplace, but losing them will just make the country's long-term prospects even worse. Plus, during a brief period of lucidity, Biden's managed to royally screw China's economy over with the CHIPS act and other associated legislation.
Anything to get more money into that military-industrial complex I guess.

I’ve been hearing rumblings of imminent collapse at least since 2008 and have major blue balls.
so far it seems like they have been doing great despite ghost cities, fake gdp numbers, and whatever else. Heavy industry has relocated there to the point that we are dependent on them for supply chains. They’ve built up a massive military. theyve bought up American farmland and real estate. They’ve bought Africa and other mineral rich countries. Their money flows through our political campaigns. They are flooding our universities. Wake me up me when something actually happens.
