'I didn't come here for second place': House Republican throws a fit over how leadership is chosen

Kind of did if you want to work on anything remotely important as that’s part of being in Congress. Besides whatever hunter/Joe committee they are making the others that actually do general gov work are needed. 400 people or whatever don’t need to work on every issue as a group or individually, that why we have bipartisan committees so people can have specializations and smaller more efficient groups to actually get something done.

>We didn't come here to get a title. How would ya – the titles around this place!" Roy exclaimed before sarcastically asking, "'Who is in leadership?' Leadership. Isn't leadership something you recognize and follow? It's not something you elect."

Leadership is something you elect. Since more than one person can have leadership qualities or want to be in charge/take those responsibilities. Then you vote to see which one the most people want to be the figurehead.

So his guy didn’t get to be speaker and he’s mad he got out voted.

So he’s not even working a full work week? Is he just trying to not be on a committee because he doesn’t want to work 5 days a week? Lol.
