Most people are here because they got sick of the content on lereddit and other normie sites. But they struggle to articulate why. It's because Social Media sites use machine learning to find engaging content which is addictive. it turns out this is hard to do for everyone. compare you and your grandma:

Your grandma likes:

• port wine

• knitting

• kittens

And you like:

• hot gluing anime figures

• huffing paint

• C&B torture

the only thing that you have in common is the fact you have a gender and race. Of course, this is the divisive content the Social Media companies shove in your face all the time. It's becoming clear that bots are not only curating the posts, but also starting to generate it too. Because the content that gets made is fake it hits the uncanny valley of content. Most people don't notice, you have to be neurodivergent internet freaks to become unhappy with it and stop using facebook.
