So I am not very good at interpreting graphs so I could be completely misreading this so do please correct me if I am. My understanding is:
The chart on the left represents y chromosome (male) population over time for different regions.
The chart on the right represents mtDNA (female) population over the same time period for different regions.
So on the left chart the largest share of men is blue (south east and east Asian) for the majority of the time and only in the very end does the caucasian orange male boom occur.
However on the right chart we can see that the women in orange (Caucasians) exploded in population at a point in time far earlier than the caucasian males on the left chart.
Which seems to indicate as per the image you shared that the caucasian females had a population boom far earlier than the caucasian male however for the majority of those fifty thousand years southeast Asian men were the majority of men in the world thus indicating as per my limited theory crafting that South Asian males being in higher number were the ones continuing the south asian geneline whereas the Caucasian female being the primary female population were the ones continuing the caucasian geneline.
Would you say my reading of the charts is correct?
