No, that's not what aberration fully means. It's a large specific word that you're now somewhat using correctly after I've educated you, but in your first comment you equated it with "made the party what it is" and an aberration doesn't do that.

What I said in my first comment was saying the GOP establishment Trump and Trumpism are an aberration and the current mood of the Republican party (Trumpism) is an aberration.
The idea being Trumpism is a temporary deviation from Republican values.
