Naw, see you don't beat a beaver to death. You grab the animal by the flappy tail, swing it around and around by spinning in a circle, and release it at just the right moment so that it collides face-first into a nearby tree (a primary source of food) making its death ironic. Then you shout "Mind your own dam business, eh!"

Good call. Im hiking through that area again soon and i know i cant really stab them. My general go to is cutting a thick branch that i use to polevault the creeks. Again, too unwieldly for any real combat. Ive been chased by these things and so far runnings worked. But i really really need to get through their territories sometimes.

I hope they can provide insight. Is this beast rabid? I have never met a nice beaver and wonder if they are rabid in my area.

Beavers are very territorial and super strong, there was a guy fishing who got his hand chewed off by one for getting too close to the dam.

Thanks. Yeah ive come so close to having to beat the shit out of them. I would rather frick with almost any other animal. To the point if i see beaver sign im highly cautious lol
