And yes, my main issue really was it seemed somewhat "selective", and most of the pressure came from governments that haven't outlawed Bibleburning themselves...

They headline it that way since it's good for clicks, obviously, and tbf. Koran burnings are the reason for the bills existence. But even in this Reuters article you get this quote from Justice Minister himself:
Criminalizing bible burning would make this both side seeth generation opportunity. That's what I'm hoping for (me being Christian may be a factor
