Death is a good thing, when it happens to bad people. If it were possible to press a button and kill every single bad person in the world with no innocent casualties, I would do it in a heartbeat.
Obviously everybody has a different opinion of who's bad and who's bad, but the standard that society uses is whether they are a violent criminal or not.
It's OK to enjoy hurting or even killing people as long as you're not breaking the law while you do it. Being nice is not a prerequisite for being an upstanding member of society: the only prerequisite is your ability to obey the law.
For example, if somebody broke into my house, I suppose there's a chance I could subdue them harmlessly, but why would I want to do that and endanger my life when I have every legal justification to just start blasting?
