it's an election year so republicans are going to want to look like they did something and this seems to be actually substantial. it's not something niche that people aren't generally familiar with, the issues have been in the news for a bit even if you only get your news to the left. I honestly think they would 25th amendment him would be invoked before any sort of impeachment or removal vote. It's probably just going to be a campaign issue to get him voted out. If they 25th amendment him, they won't even have to pardon him since they can just say he isn't competent to stand trial. No one wants kamala, so removing him for someone arguably worse isn't attractive with so much time left on the clock. That's the only reason I think he won't be removed. Plus can't let the other side claim first foid in charge. Then he will get the Trump treatment and we will go after him when he isn't president, ensuring everything is political theater forever

i watched the jan 6th shit live and though it was hilarious at the time and my opinion hasn't changed. But lets be real, all those people got let into the capital where they largely just strolled around, that being said, the b-word that got shot seemed to have it coming. Benjamin Philips, the founder of a pro-Trump website called Trumparoo, died of a stroke.
