The Red Line podcast tried to do an episode about this today but it was really boring because everyone just said Argentina no longer has any military power.
Which is pretty amazing when you think about it. In 1982 they came very close to winning a war against Britain and now they're no threat.

This is what I've heard from British guys who were involved. If a few more exocet missiles had hit it would have all been off. Iirc where it really came close is they were down to one ship left that had CH-47s (which they so charmingly call the "chin ook" because they can't pronounce anything the French way !pnw) and if that one got hit they would have had to abort the whole operation.
The public perception of this stuff reminds me of Mitsuo Fuchida talking about the old timers in the Japanese navy. They tried to explain to the kids that when they fought the Chinese and Russians it wasn't easy like propaganda suggested. They were really lucky and a few shells landing in a different place would have meant a totally different outcome. But the zoomers didn't listen and started ww2 and ultimately are responsible for anime.

It actually seems like he's mellowed out pretty quickly since taking office. Also like that he's one of the only leaders in the last 20 years that's admitted things have to get worse before they get better. Unironically have r-slurs on Reddit saying he could spend his way out of it like Obama did in 08' and austerity was the wrong policy in Europe. Because Argentina's 200% inflation is exactly the same situation as the US / Europe at the time they happened to be conscious

Metaphorically. Killing government employees is like cutting a worm in half, they get more tax payer money, more security, and less able to be removed. Closing their offices is worse than death because their families survive on other peoples hard work for sometimes hundreds of years. This is a good thing.
This is contradictory to his previous claim, the tax has already been cut, most likely in full or near it, by "destroying the social safety net". So it becomes very quickly obvious that he can't even comprehend a world without tax, sad and small-minded. It seems he realizes his true enemy is the politician but still falls for their lies of the "heckin evil businessman".
Taxes have already been cut, and this also doesn't make sense as if libertarians believe in tax in the first place, it's flat tax. As in, literally no difference between incomes.
I don't even know what this delusion is, it seems he thinks libertarians want a government involved in the economy, despite that going against everything the free market stands for. Also, capitalism literally makes everyone richer, all the countries with favelas and high poverty have an overarching theme of communistic or corporatistic (social-democratic) economies.
