It's hilarious that suggesting the Chinese created the virus in a lab for typical research, and had a leak, is somehow considered racist. Instead the morally correct opinion is that those dirty zipperheads are so filthy they eat contaminated bats raw in a wealthy, major metropolitan city.

Not just that, but that a lab acknowledged to be researching the exact kind of virus that covid was and doing research aimed at making it more infectious to boot, was the source of the outbreak of a highly infectious virus with signs of alteration in its genome was clearly racist. Obviously they're just so backwards they eat raw wild bat.

Literally the only implication of the lab leak theory is that the researchers failed to follow laboratory safety and contamination standards and they were studying a disease they found/created (like what a disease research lab is supposed to do), like a midnight patrol guard falling asleep on the job. The fact that employees ignoring safety standards and regulations is considered a conspiracy theory rather than a realistic possibility makes me want to put all the "trust science" people in a camp.
