there are women at my work who shave their heads and wear wigs. i literally did not know this was a thing and thought my black coworkers were making shit up until i saw it myself. another guy told me he washed his hair once every two weeks i literally scrub my hair and body with the cheapest body wash i can find twice a day and it works fine but all the black people at my work were shocked and told me their hair would break if they did that. how do they keep it from smelling? i sweat so fricking much at my work under the hat and i don't get how they keep it from becoming disgusting and sweaty

Okay hear me out think about it. If you are black and aren't the descendant of slaves likely you're still in Africa sucking sand. Now if your ancestors are slaves likely you're in America and have an iPhone and a car and a refrigerator. So you take the average net worth of an African-American and subtract it by the average net worth of an African-African multiply that number by the total number of African Americans today and that's how much they owe. If I had to choose whether my great great great great grandfather was a free man in Africa or a slave in America I know what I would choose...
