I don't think these people understand how to make arguments here lol. The only good argument I've ever heard is, Asian/Black/Mexican patients will be more comfortable if their doctor is Asian/Black/Mexican themselves, even though that argument itself is 'we need to be racist to help racist people'.
Why air traffic controllers need to be imbued with Black Girl Magic, I do not know.

They're coveting money and status, they don't give a shit about the actual work. If they could have a cash patronage system, sumptuary laws, and be able to talk down to people all day without actually doing a job, they'd choose that, because it's everything they really want. But getting a high class job gifted to them brings them 80% of the way there, so they go for that instead.
It should be intuitively obvious with how low status jobs are immune to all these laws.

It's a very third-world mindset. A Hallmark of less-developed economies is the continuation of tribal/clan/feudal politics into the economy. There's usually a small class of technically skilled people, but resources are allocated to members of the clan who are granted positions of power and influence under threat of violence, where they do nothing except skim money and extract bribes, until their clan loses power and they are tossed out to be replaced with other parasites

Oh absolutely, what westerners don't know is that SEA is filled with these sorts of affirmative action laws, except over there it's the majority (Like the Malays in Malaysia) arbitrarily imposing quotas and giving jobs to their own people just because they can.

The argument is that there are no inherent differences among people so any differences in outcomes have to be the result of racism so anything we do to undo those differences is just undoing racism and allowing natural outcomes to thrive.
