It is actually somewhat worse than that.
I followed the trial with Potentially Criminal. The DA offered her a deal: If you tell use who gave you the ammo, we will give you a minor sentence.
She refused to say where the ammo came from?
Why? Because it most likely came from her Dad, who is a legend in the industry and would then face charges himself.
Was she a dump nepo baby who had 0 odea what she was doing? Yes. But so many people fricked up and should be forced to pay.
She is essentially the scapegoat to protect others. The trial failed to answer who actually loaded the gun as well. Her partner got immunity and said it was her, but witnesses said they did not see.
Just an utter shitshow that starts and ends with Baldwin and the other producers being cheap

I read in NYTimes that the feds didn't investigate the vendor where they got ammunition from. Know annything about that?

They're making a movie where people use guns to pretend to shoot other people. When you use real ammo, you end up actually shooting other people. It was totally the fault of whoever loaded the gun
