The Democratic president in this election year is refining the economic agenda that he's been pushing since the 2020 presidential race, trying to show that he is addressing voters' concerns about the cost of living. With Republican control of the House, Biden's agenda is unlikely to become law and serves as something of a sales pitch to voters.

The journo twists himself like a pretzel to suck Joe Biden's peepee while admitting he's done nothing and that this will accomplish nothing.

Under Biden's proposal, corporations would no longer be able to deduct the expense of employee pay above $1 million, which could raise $270 billion over 10 years. He also wants to raise the corporate tax rate to 28% from 21%, among other measures.

"Oh no we can't deduct employee pay, time to fire employees."

And, as Biden has previously proposed, major companies would be charged a minimum tax rate so that they could not avoid the IRS through accounting maneuvers, deductions and specialized tax breaks.

Closing loopholes is the only good thing here.

They problem is they aren't closing any loopholes they're just slapping another bandaid on it.

Unironically at least half of all deductions just need to be 86'd, both on the corporate side and on the personal side.

Where in Biden's speech is the part where he defends himself from the r*pe charges he was found civilly guilty of or the part where he explains why he shouldn't have to pay 500 million dollars in damages to the federal government for making up his own net worth despite saying he's a billionaire and should have no issue paying the hundreds of millions of dollars he owes to the American people (including that lady he r*ped and then defamed)?

Where's that part?
