The parents who were trying to charge in there shouldn't be accusing anyone else. Dumbest thing you can do. Now the cops can't do anything because they might accidentally kill a parent and get scapegoated like Chauvin and spend the rest of their life in prison.
Normally I'd agree, but the Uvalde police were doing next to nothing, including that one cop who was caught playing on his phone while posted up in the hallway (or confirming his kid got out so he could continue minimal effort). What's all the military gear, suppressed SBRs, balistic shields, and force of numbers good for if one person armed with the same gun 20+ police on the scene had was enough to deter them all?
Maybe he should've channeled his inner Punisher (Punisher skull phone wallpaper he had) and done something about it. "Sorry you're dying babe but boss didn't tell me to jump yet or how high."
Yeah those are good points. I've never actually just seen a timeline so I don't know if the parents were blocking the cops or they only got desperate after a waiting a long time.
I guess it's not really the Uvalde parents I have a problem with but the media coverage. Which has been totally irresponsible and encouraging parents to act on emotion if their kids are in a hostage situation.

Parents and cops who were willing
to do more than sit with their thumbs
up their asses were disarmed and detained.
