Maybe I'm just r-slurred and don't know shit about courts, but I thought Supreme Court rulings were sort of the final say on shit.
If appeal courts could just decide to overturn their shit why didn't they do this for Dobbs?

The supreme court hates actually making decisions themselves, and only does so when they have to. They mostly punted it back to the lower courts.
