McNearny was good but made the questionable decision to not make the 737MAX a clean sheet design after Southwest Airlines told him theyd go to Airbus if they didnt make a 737 in between the NG and Max. Which they would not have actually done.
Dennis Muilenburg fumbled the 737MAX issue. First boeing ceo who was an engineer in a while, look how that turned out. The board probably wont let another Engineer be CEO after his shit technical lead on MCAS
David Calhoun swore hed correct all the aafety issues which of course he didnt.
