There is enough oil on the table in Guyana, I could see a war breaking out.

The only reason I think it hasn't/might not happen is that the Venezuela/Guyana border is a dense nigh impenetrable jungle, I don't think Venezuela has the means for an amphibian invasion and no way Brazil is letting them pass through
