Apple River stabbing case: Nicolae Miu found guilty of killing Isaac Schuman :marseyitsnuts:

https://www.mprnews.org/story/2024/04/11/apple-river-stabbing-case-verdict-nicolae-miu-guilty-killing-isaac-schuman

A jury on Thursday found a Minnesota man guilty on all charges in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager during a tubing trip in western Wisconsin in the summer of 2022.

Nicolae Miu, who's now 54, was found guilty of first-degree reckless homicide in the death of 17-year-old Isaac Schuman of Stillwater during a confrontation on the Apple River. The verdict was read just after 11 a.m. in St. Croix County Circuit Court in Hudson, Wis.

Miu was also found guilty of four counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with four people who were wounded in the stabbing — Alexander Martin, Dante Carlson, Anthony Carlson and Ryhley Mattison.

Miu also was found guilty on a count of battery.

He had been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, and four counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

But KARE 11 reported that the jury was given the option to find Miu guilty on less-severe charges of reckless homicide and recklessly endangering safety — and exercised that discretion in their verdict.

Old fart decided that getting shoved in the water by zoomers half his size meant he could shank them.

He also blatantly lied to the cops and tried to hide his knife after the deed.

Tbh :marseynorm: but one dead, several injured and one in jail is good enough

People who only watched the video and haven't looked at case are surprised lmfao. It's not on video but Miu went up to the group, touched their tubes, and didn't explain why he approached them. His own friends testified he was a veteran and if he wanted to kill it was intentional, and a while after the stabbing he looked unfazed. he killed the only dude trying to prevent the fight. Then lied to the police on several occasions.

Omg I don't like his facial expression, he must be guilty! :soycry:

It means his friend of 5 years thought he was guilty. He also didn't mention the stabbings when he fled and went back to his friend group. Eat my shorts, boomer :marseyindignant:

It's an interesting case because the kids are harassing the guy and physically assaulting him, but the guy had the chance to walk away. The two arguments are that he could have walked away (he's guilty) and he was defending himself (not guilty). Watch the video of it. That's what got me interested.

Boomer got a guilty verdict but he took out a stupid zoomer, disembowled another, and cut like three other dumb kids.

I think this has taught me that “duty to retreat” is an r-slured law.

this is the problem with jury trials

theyre made up of the public

and the majority of the public are r-slurred

I thought a jury would have been his best bet but it would be down to who the defense picked. You'd have to get people with no kids or people who have been harassed by kids.

Mob of crossfaded zoomers tried to incite a lynching on false pedophilia charges for tiktok clout, he defended himself by stabbing five people, with one dying. Clear cut self defense that was all caught on camera.

TL:DR drunk and high zoomers attack an old man (along 2 r-slurred chicks who start harassing him because the first group called him a p-do) they surround him and keep pushing him down in the water, he pulls out a knife and several of them get stabbed, 1 fatally.

It was (largely) self defense and in at least 1 case the person stabbed literally ran into the knife trying to push the old man down again
