MIT has always been a very transparent
. For as much as I love to shit on academics, it really deserves the status it has as best in the world. Anyone that argues that Tsinghua in Beijing has surpassed it is huffing on that high grade copium with Chinese characteristics.

MIT is the only school that actually impresses me when people brag about where they studied. My coworkers from Harvard are just... mediocre. It's funny when the ones from IITs try to explain why they are actually ivy league though.

All of the people I've met from IITs have been insanely cracked though. One of my friends at grad school did his ECE PhD in 3 years lol, his undergrad was IIT Delhi he was built diff for sure.
I've hated almost everyone I've met from Harvard and Yale, most of them are uptight wokescolds.
Stanford and MIT grads are cool in my experience. One of my roommates did undergrad at MIT and he's super chill, we make food together sometimes and he teaches me how to do Indian cooking.

I don't think I've ever worked with anyone from Caltech. They have some great free courses though. That said, MIT open courseware is the GOAT.

Something interesting to note though is that MIT was the university that originally lead the Title IX revolution. Sally (the same president who is in support of this development) is a big proponent of Title IX.
