I don't get why trans people are so offended about gender dysphoria being classified as a mental illness.
Don't you want it to be an illness? If it's not an illness, then there's no reason to "cure" it (HRT and surgeries).
And something being an "illness" is just a mental state that's considered out of the ordinary. Homosexuality can be classified as a mental illness since the majority of the population aren't gay.
Stupid semantics.
