Stuff like this really makes me appreciate the US immigration system. You can immigrate if:
1. You have enough publications in Cell, Nature, and Science that the State Department deems you worthy and mails you a green card.
2. You overstay your college visa and fade into the background as a no-crime subservient Chinese tech drone.
3. You brave an extremely hostile and life threatening gauntlet through a desert full of cartels, human smugglers, and river obstacles designed to drown you, leaving only the most determined, dedicated, and hard-working.
Imagine being European or Canadian and welcoming unqualified brown people rather than at least making them work for it.
