With no fault divorce, marriage seems kinda pointless. Like why even have all the formalities if one party can jisy unilaterraly break it off and take half of everything?

Ironically one of the major arguments in favor of allow divorce is that if you don't allow it legally, killing your spouse becomes a reasonable solution.
Kinda like if a dude gets baby trapped and just murders his partner rather than spend 2 decades paying child support.
