At some point, I think it's a deterrent so the migrants will be spooked enough not to come.
Either mass illeg add l immigration is stopped, or the normie position will become having guns shot them down, dropping chemical weapons on them, even nuking Africa, Middle East and Asia just to kill all migrants, “asylum seekers”.
