I saw an interview he did recently with CNN where he lays out his side of the story, and really he had a lot of good points. He did say "I'm not fricking giving this away for nothing" but no politician would. They would expect some kind of favor in the future or to put someone loyal to them in a high position. Blagojevich just was a little too blunt in talking about it.
Now that the Supreme Court has legalized bribing public officials (as long as you say it's just a gift
) I can't imagine what you could accuse him of doing that's worse than every other governor.
