Does the endorsement even matter? She has to play ball because the dems are her boss. It's obviously not because of her political convictions that she backs Kamala.

She's not forced to endorse, especially early. I also would say it is her convictions, via the increasingly pragmatic approach she's taken the past few years (versus the rest of the "squad").
There's no question that Harris aligns better with AOC's politics than Trump.
