How fricked are you economically these days? How's housing and food?

Pretty fricked.
Food inflation isnt going crazy any more since energy prices came down a bit, but who knows how long that will last. housing is an absolute nightmare. My house is appreciating about 15% per year for the last 5 years with no sign of slowing down, rent is up about 20% per year.
Our economic fundamentals are totally fricked and our government is terrified at the idea of actually producing anything, so until that changes we get to rely on millions of Indian immigrants to prop up our GDP and keep the wheels turning.

How many Indians are you honestly running into regularly? Are they just doing what US immigrants do and swarming main cities, or are they pretty much everywhere now? Trying to see if my impression from Twitter actually matches up to reality lol

I live in BC and the amount of Indians I see is alarming. 10 years ago, my town was 85% white, now I bet it's 75%. It's been very noticeable over the last year. They're fricking terrible drivers too. I spent a decent amount of time in Yellowkinfe last year and there's a decent amount of Indians and Africans there too and it only has 22000 people.

Im in Calgary and its honestly staggering. We already had a pretty large indian population before, but now depending on the region of the city they are the vast majority. The majority of new hires at my company are indian as well.
