They told they cant use US gear on Russian soil. Do you think U.S. would want to give Russia moral points ? U.S. at first tried to push it that it was some Russian rebels but Ukraine told no that it wasn't Russian rebels so this move is not what U.S. wants

Even if Russia was capable of acquiring a moral point it would bury it under a pile of chimp shit within 5 minutes.
The US tried to work with the Russian state since 1930s for strategic reasons and every time Russians proved to be amoral and duplicitous.
Why do you think the Cold War started so quickly? Because burgers were sick of Stalin's shit and constant attempts to undermine their cooperation. Truman and Eisenhower were more clear eyed than idealistic Roosevelt who thought Stalin had some deep, hidden decency until the end.
Russians, just like Chinese and Jeets, are incapable of being trustworthy at a genetic level and only understand force, and should be corralled by threat of (or actual) violence like untrained dogs.

Ukraine ignoring US command won't help. They also won't be able to do this operation forever to cover their loses in other fronts.
