Read the rest of the discussion. Scottish LGBT groups have a long and sordid history of paedophiles in prominent or influential positions. That's right from the very start with the founding of the first ones in the 1960's. Its not even the only convicted paedophile in LGBT Youth Scotland (a former chief executive was also convicted)

A group giving advice out to young LGBT people should be ultra-cautious of paedophiles influencing that advice to downplay the risks of being groomed and abused - because paedophiles have a strong motivation to influence young people in exactly that way.

If a person writing things for schools were convicted of far right extremism I would expect all those materials to be thoroughly reviewed and probably withdrawn until given the all clear. If a person writing things for schools is convicted of paedophile grooming offences I would expect the same response - withdrawal until after a thorough review.

So does the church.

So you're saying we should view LGB+ groups with the same suspicion and constant accusations about being infested with paedophiles that the church receives? That anytime an LGB+ organisation says anything at all we can just go what about all the paedos in their organisations?

It's not as if this is the only example either, there's loads dating back decades. Per capita these organisations have a much higher then average rate of paedophiles in key positions or even being founded by them. Really gets the nogging jogging.
