in the 80's at least to my knowledge, when they started pumping this shit out to parents to give their hyper kids, i doubt the parents knew...
i think it just became a go to and no one asked questions...
i only looked into it after finding out most school shooters were on this shit....and during the coof massive amounts of work from home adults started taking it so there was a shortage of supplies...
