I almost made a post about this but the Pinoy reporting didn't mention that 60 Minutes was onboard.

My understanding (and I've been following this pretty closely) is that the Filipinos haven't yet invoked the treaty. And everyone is watching this knowing that the Chinese are just get crazier and crazier. We know it's going to happen sometime where they finally cross a line that's worth dying over. And I pray we'll actually support our allies. I was ready to get nuked over Koln and Rotterdam and I'm ready to get nuked over Manila.
This if you are not a military age male. If you are then you should be praying for war. That is your purpose in life. God took away my ability to get killed in Iraq. I'm still not over that.

Maybe you would actually inherit the Earth. I've played out various nuclear war scenarios in my head when I had insomnia and in some South America and Africa don't get hit. The only problem is the Russians will probably just nuke every 3000m runway on the continent. With a groundburst, because they want to crater it. That means the maximum possible fallout.
