"Latter-day Saints supporting Harris in Arizona make a faith-based appeal for backing the Democratic ticket despite any reservations, pointing to church teaching that the U.S. Constitution is divinely inspired."
Hang on a minute, now. Whatever happened to all the fuss over the separation of church and state? all the "vote for Harris because Trump will introduce a Christofascist theocracy" online alarms?
Either "This doesn't matter because Harris is an opportunist who has no intention of doing anything for the Mormons if she gets elected and it'll be business as usual about white guy privilege for them" or "It's okay when we do it".
I know, it's politics. I'm sad to see the Mormons selling out on this, though.
