One time I was walking around Tanasbourne waiting for a medical appointment bored out of my mind and I went into a Trader Joe's. It was a grocery store except with nothing really appealing. It didn't have a good selection of normal white people stuff like an ordinary grocery store. It didn't have asian stuff like an asian grocery store. It didn't have good prices like WinCo or Costco. It was a really crowded uncomfortable place to be in. I've been wondering for about 20 years, why do people go there?
I went to a Trader Joe's recently and it was impossible to find parking and the entire store was too crowded to actually look at anything they had.
Bought some frozen items, jarred bruschetta tomato mix, and some knockoff funyuns that weren't half bad though. Aisha killed the bag of mochi croutons and I destroyed a bag of sour gummy creatures over the course of a few days.
Their paper bags are cool and I have too many reusable grocery bags to even consider thinking about braving the crowds to go there again any time soon.

Its for single women in their 20s and 50+. They want a variety of microwave meals and wine to get drunk on. I'm not joking.

They have generics that somehow people have convinced themselves are good (they're not) and cheaper than the real thing (they're not)

Their Pound Plus Chocolate bars are a great bargain! It's actually somewhat rare to find any nice chocolate elsewhere let alone in bulk
