A second meat recall has hit the burgers :marseyblackcock: :marsey911: :nuggetesoteric:

https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/10/health/brucepac-listeria-recall-ready-to-eat-meat-poultry/index.html

Got a notification about this literally halfway thru a burrito containing chicken from this company.

!goyslopenjoyers it appears that red's frozen burritos are made with this stuff so the chicken varieties are gonna be un-buyable for the foreseeable future :marseycry:

So far there have been "no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products," the USDA said Wednesday.

I have a friend that works for a company that used these products, he said it was a total cluster frick and brucepac wasn't forthcoming about how long the issue had been going on.

So fricking annoying. Between this and the boar's head thing, I'm worried the competency crisis has already landed at the level of basic food prep. I'm gonna be really mad if I don't get to have any of those frozen burritos for the next 6 months, which seems likely. Hopefully whoever is at fault gets sued into oblivion.
