I had a Cuban coworker whose dad got him to the US through Canada. His dad worked for Castro so had a little more than the average Cuban coming over in rafts, and getting a flight to Canada hid his intent. I know the average commie Redditor thinks communism is utopia, but his dad could have been killed for what he did.
